Steel Gear Crankshaft Volvo B230 16V Width (Round Tooth)

Description

Steel drive with round tooth for the crankshaft on the B230 if you want to drive with a wide timing belt or 16V top!

Newly manufactured 5.7 mm key included, this has been specially manufactured to fit in the groove in the crankshaft with 100% fit.

ATTENTION! Watch out for reground 6 mm wedges or stepped wedges etc. which will then be too short for the crankshaft’s groove + that there is easy play!

When using the original anti-sway damper, a keyway must be made in it of 5.7 mm. You also have to grind out the plate between the drive and the pulley, so that the wedge runs freely there.

ATTENTION! Correct division on the cogs so that the timing belt does not wear! These drives are manufactured with the correct draw reamer!
Watch out for “China” steel sprockets on the market with the wrong tooth profile, these will wear out the timing belt in a few miles + making it harder to pull, because the timing belt “gets stuck” in the sprocket.

Tips to consider:

If you use this drive for 8V, the pulley comes out further and then the belt for the water pump or generator does not match. Then you must have the pulley from 16V or other aluminum pulleys for 16V.
