Brake caliper adapters Volvo 850 / S70 / V70 rear – Volvo S60 / V70R

An adapter for mounting the caliper from the Volvo S60R / V70R to the rear of the Volvo 850 / S70 / V70.
This kit uses Volvo S60R / V70R brake disc.

Mounting:

Start by filing a little on the spider according to picture 1. This is so that one ear on the caliper should go completely free. Try until the yoke fits, there is very little to go. You also need to cut off the part of the brake shield that is in the way of the new brake caliper.
Now carefully mount the spacer ring over the center and then the spacer (see picture 2) and finally the brake disc.
Then screw in the adapter and the caliper according to Fig. 3. The adapter is screwed with 2 pcs M10x25 and the yoke with 2 pcs M10x30. Use thread lock (not included).

– 2 mounts in 10mm S355MCD
– 4 pcs 12: 9 Allen screw M10x25
– 4 pcs 12: 9 Allen screw M10x35
– 2 x 1.5mm spacers
– 2 centering rings

NOTE! These products are not approved by Swedish car testing (as long as the car is not registered with them) and may therefore only be used on e.g. lane, LMR disclaims all responsibility for penalties you may receive in e.g. a flying inspection.

But! If you are going to inspect your car for registration with rebuilt brakes, these adapters are approved, what is normally required then is material spec and these are made of 8mm Domex 650 MC D.
