OBP Round Oil Catch Tank 0,5 Liter Black (3 x 12,7 mm hose fittings)

Stylish, small and practical oil catch tank from OBP Motorsport made of powder coated matt black T6061 high quality aluminum.

Fits really well into the engine room with its high “race factor”. Also includes ready-made mounting brackets that fit well to the torpedo wall or the like.

Dimensions: Diameter 90 x Height 90 mm (approx. 0.5 liter in volume), excluding hose connections.

Equipped with 3 x 12.7 mm hose connections: 1 inlet and 2 outlet.

Drainage: 1 drain plug underneath, provided with gasket that prevents leakage.

Level tube: No.

Originally, for most vehicles, the crankcase ventilation is usually pulled back to the inlet, which fills the intercooler and pipes with oil = impaired power.

With an oil catch tank, this problem is solved as the oil is “caught up” in the tank instead (hence the name catchtank) and improves the ventilation of the engine.

A special must for tuned / high power cars.

A poor ventilation lowers the power from the engine and prematurely destroys the gaskets.
