do88’s high-quality intake system is carefully designed and constructed to improve air flow and lower the air pressure while only sucking in cold air. In other words, this is a genuine so-called CAI system / Cold Air Intake, unlike many aftermarket systems which instead suck in the hot air behind the engine fan, which in turn results in lost power and performance thanks to the high intake temperature.

It would be conceivable that the car’s original intake system is designed for the power the engine has, in which a performance increase should mean that the intake performance is no longer sufficient and it probably results in the vacuum being too large on the turbo suction side with reduced efficiency and power from the engine as a result. So even if you only want to increase the turbo charge pressure via a software update (so-called chipping), then do88’s intake system will give a better performance when compared to the original intake system!
