ASS Adapter drive shaft Ø110mm to Ø96mm ZF / Getrag gearbox

Adapter for Getrags and ZF´s gearboxes from e.g. BMW and Mercedes with the large carrier with bolt circle on Ø110mm. The adapter makes these fit rubber joint and drive shaft with carriers on Ø96mm, Volvo, BMW and others. See dimensioned picture for easy control measurement of your own shaft / gearbox.

The adapter builds only 8 mm so you keep the centering between the gearbox and the drive shaft.

All necessary screws, nuts and washers are included (see below).
Screw in 10.9 quality and Nord-lock washers.

Made of 8 mm high-strength steel sheet which is electro-galvanized matt black color.

The kit includes:

– 1 pcs Adapter
– 3 pcs M12x40 Recessed 10.9
– 3 pcs M12x60 Hexagon head 10.9
– 3 pcs M12x60 Recessed 10.9
– 9 pcs M12 Nut
– 9 pcs M12 Nord-Lock washer

Mounting:

All screws must be oiled and the screw connections must then be tightened to 107Nm.
Start by inserting the three M12x60 countersunk screws in the smaller bolt circle, Ø96mm, from the countersunk side. Then mount the adapter on the carrier on the gearbox with M12x40 countersunk screw and Nord-Lock washer with nut according to picture 1.
Then take the rubber universal joint from BMW or Volvo, Ø96mm, not included, and put in M12x60 with hexagon head. Be sure to mount the universal joint in the correct rotation (see directional arrows in the rubber). Then mount it on the adapter with M12x60 countersunk screw, Nord-Lock washer and nut according to picture 2.
Finish by mounting the drive shaft against the universal joint according to picture 3.
