T7Design’s range of stacked-plate oil and transmission coolers are an effective to keep transmissions and engines at their optimal temperature. Our oil coolers are available in a range of sizes and heights to fit any application. The oil coolers are designed for motorsport and fast road use, ideally, they are to be mounted in a position where air can flow easily through the core, either in front or behind the engine’s main coolant radiator.

It is important to note that the oil cooler should be mounted upright as in picture one, or on its side as in picture two. If mounting sideways please ensure that the oil is fed into the bottom port, and the return line, connected to the upper most port. This will ensure no air is trapped in the oil cooler when bled or in operation.

Should you be unable to mount the cooler in an optimal position we offer our own manufactured oil cooler fan shrouds (for 19 Row up) and adjustable fan switches, these kits give you more flexibility when mounting an oil cooler where space is at a premium. Simply adjust the thermostatic switch to your desired temperature and let the fan keep your oil temps in check.
