Double-cone high-quality air filter for motorsport and racing where flow & power are prioritized. Most flow per cm2 filter area in the class!

Type of model:

Double-cone sports air filter / performance air filter with 8-layer filter surface WITHOUT oil = DryFlow! The DryFlow filters are excellent for the street or if you drive many miles because they have better cleaning of debris particles with their 8-layers, compared to the motorsport variant which has 4-layers to instead prioritize maximum flow and performance. Also very suitable for you who have an mass air flow sensor as DryFlow is oil-free and thus does not risk disturbing the function of the air mass meter or possibly destroying the sensor with oil from the filter.

Performance:

Can handle up to about 800 hp, however, depending entirely on other engine components, etc. Used both in motorsport and for tuned street cars and enthusiast cars, suitable for you who want the best filtration but with a little less flow than 4-layer filters with oil. This filter provides the most flow / power per cm2 of filter area in its class! Really affordable!

Construction:

Filter material that is built in 8-layers with a metal skeleton that gives the air filter stability to withstand pressure shocks and surges in the best possible way! Can also handle some physical “strokes” without breaking, it will mainly be “twisted” if the shocks are powerful. Several other filter manufacturers instead use internal plastic baskets to hold up the filter and thus there is a risk that pieces of plastic go into the turbo and destroy it, should the filter break. You do not have to worry about this with Hurricane DryFlow air filter!

Installation:

Mounted so that fresh air easily reaches the filter surface and of course separated from the engine’s heat radiation as the intake temperature to a large extent affects the engine’s power. The filter should also be kept protected from water, dirt and heat radiation for the best life span.

Cleaning:

1. Fill a bucket with water and filter cleaner / soap.
2. Dip the filter into the water and spin around a couple of turns.
3. Pick up the filter and let it drain and then air dry.

Management:

Hurricane Motorsport air filter is very wear-resistant but should still be handled carefully in order to get maximum power and flow.
