The flexibility of the hoses comes from its woven steel spiral (in the reinforcement) which gives really good flexible characteristics while at the same time being able to withstand a very high burst pressure, ie. the pressure required to break them.
The outside of the hose is not smooth but the shape follows the steel spiral which helps to make the hose as flexible as possible.
Suitable for many different applications, such as radiator hoses, hoses for heating package, and the like. These hoses strive to be straight due to the steel spiral, which is why the positions of the connections determines its shape.
If the hose has an inside diameter of more than 51 mm, these are not as flexible as the smaller diameter hoses. Hoses with a diameter of 51 mm or more are recommended for softer bends.
